After only nine months of construction, the new building for the St. Georgen an der Stiefing all-day primary school was officially opened on 23 May. The new building provides the existing primary school with a high-quality extension that features a spacious layout, flexible outdoor areas, sustainable construction and energy self-sufficiency

A place for people to meet and share ideas: New building for St. Georgen an der Stiefing elementary school
The new all-day school building provides St. Georgen an der Stiefing primary school with new space for all-day care and a workshop. The barrier-free, single-storey extension with 270 m² offers bright common rooms and flexible outdoor areas. The building was constructed using timber, is energy self-sufficient and uses an air heat pump and PV modules to generate electricity. Surplus energy is stored and used for the existing school.
